What is AWANA?

FBC Oak Island is committed to teaching kids how to hide God’s Word in their hearts. We believe one of the most important gifts we can give to the next generation is a deep and lasting knowledge of God’s Word. Rooted in Scripture memorization, AWANA is a disciple-making tool we use to help Scripture sink deep into the hearts of our kids, ages 2 years old through 5th grade. In addition to small groups and Scripture memorization, kids will participate in large-group Bible studies and team-centered games.
